LISTEN MUCHACHOS
40k euros a year - PUHlease - no thanks for this school
theyve got a fancy bulding with cool windows and a pool which they heavily use for marketing purposes - dont fall for this trap dudes
SODEXCO the catering company BSB uses is so so so expensive and the food doesnt even taste good - if youre vegetarian, boy are you in trouble cuz the food is inedible - like youd rather munch on a bush (and i mean the prickly kind) than eat that stuff
also the teachers are kinda useless - and by kinda i mean completely
they are so incompetent and they just make you miserable (like they try)
and they have so many dumb rules - like not allowed to bring your lunch bag into the cafeteria - boyo what even
my food is in my bag and the bag racks are like a million miles away
basically - 40k a year not worth - overrated overpriced - not worth it - homeschool your children instead - atleast theyll be happy

Super Schule.

Stands for BAD school of Brussels. It is rather a day care center. My child has attended primary. We are tremendously dissapointed. First of all student - teacher ratio was 24:1!!!!! Consequently huge lack of teacher's attention that causes lack of fundamental knowlege. His teacher failed to provide basic instructions such as writing letters, however she was expecting written essays; basic operations math while expecting to know multiplication table!!! I had to teach everything at HOME!!! Terrible discipline. It seems like student were playing "tag" all day long.
The "best" part of the academic year happens during the confinement. There were absolutely NO online classes for THREE weeks!!!! (Even public schools were much better organised) BSB was just sending whole bunch of YouTube video links to watch for kids!!! After paying €30 000 all we get is a bunch of videos!!! After Easter the school has finally decided to look like they cared about teaching. So they have provided ONLY 1 class a day (4 days per week) which lasted 30 minutes! Besides during the class they were mainly talking about the weather and Easter bunnies rather then academic program. Teacher absolutely DID NOT care about providing education, progress and the results.
I also hate their iPad approach. Too much screen and unnecessary usage of the devise. Children are encouraged to spell words on the devise but they can not spell on the paper. Very doubtful academic values.
Also a lot of bulling around which gets reported but NEVER investigated NOR solved!!! One day my 7 year old came home asking about kissing the tongues after seeing two older girls kissing with their tongues in a cafeteria during the lunch break!!!!
The enrichment activities were very dissapointing as well. First of all it is almost impossible to get into most popular activities which will make your child feel very frustrated.
Swimming pool activities are awful. There are 6 groups of 8 pupils = 48 (!!!) students in the pool having a lesson at the same time!!! Each group has an area of approximately 10 m. sq. for 8 students. It's is hugely overcrowded.
I could never imagine that a private school can be so low standard and irresponsible. We feel cheated. We regret putting our child to that school. Especially considering that we were paying fees with our funds, we feel very deceived and ripped off.

BSB is a wonderfully inclusive school. My children have really flourished here. The children not only get academic opportunities, but also a wide variety of enrichment activities. The campus and facilities are excellent!
