Berengere is wonderful and a really brilliant French teacher. I am probably a nightmare of a student to put up with, but she has endless patience, is funny, warm and so engaging to work with and will always adapt to what you need or want from a lesson, whilst still pushing you to achieve your potential. Can't recommend her highly enough!

I have been working with Lorene for 7 months and in that time I have become so much more comfortable speaking and writing French. Lorene is a masterful teacher and delightful person who reads me very well and offers a range of activities and lessons in my interest areas to build my skills mixed with interesting conversation and topics on French culture and history that grow my knowledge and vocabulary. I am so happy to give her 5 stars. Learning with her has been so much more effective than French Apps. She corrects and supports my language growth in real time conversation and when we aren't meeting she sends articles to read and lessons to build my understanding and skills. The French Academy platform is versatile and easy to navigate. I highly recommend working with Lorene to truly learn French!

I could not recommend Berengere more!

Her passion for the french language and culture are practically infectious, and really bring her lessons to life. They're well considered, meticulous, and above all very fun.

And the results are clear: last year I was unable to express myself in French at all—and now, thanks to this extraordinary teacher's help, I'm capable of carrying on complex, detailed, and nuanced conversations.

I have been taking lessons from Berengere Dumas for several months now. I have found her to be an excellent teacher. Her French is easy to understand and she has a very solid methodical way of teaching the complex French grammar. In our lessons Berengere is friendly and patient and doesn’t get frustrated as I work through my mistakes. She creates a comfortable ambience which has increased my motivation to learn this beautiful language.
